New Delhi: Following a Supreme Court order, the Centre on Saturday constituted a 12-member National Task Force to assess and recommend changes to, if any, the availability and distribution of oxygen for the entire country.
The task force will also provide inputs and strategies, based on the specialised knowledge of its members to meet challenges raised by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Notably, the Supreme Court had ordered the setting up of the task force last week during its hearing on the oxygen crisis in the country.
