Bhubaneswar: Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ on Monday (May 11) launched ‘BHAROSA’, an online counselling helpline for mental health and well-being of university and college students in Odisha amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The students can send their queries to 8046801010, which will be addressed by doctors, psychologists and educationists based on the concern.
“BHAROSA helpline, with the help of a team of Doctors, Psychologists & Educationists will provide mental & psychological assistance to lakhs of college & university students in Odisha during this COVID-19 pandemic,” the minister was quoted as saying by PIB Bhubaneswar.
The helpline was launched via online webinar in the presence of Odisha Education Minister Arun Kumar Sahoo and MHRD secretary Amit Khare, among other officials of the State and the Central government.
