Bhubaneswar: After a gap of six days, the daily COVID count in Odisha dropped to single-digit again on Monday as seven persons tested positive for the virus in the last hours.
The state had reported 14, 18, 19, 14, 17 and 12 infections in the last 6 days.
According to the I & PR department, five of these cases are from quarantine and 2 local contacts. Two among them are in the age group of 01-18 years.
Here are the district-wise figures of the new cases:
1. Balasore: 1
2. Cuttack: 1
3. Ganjam: 2
4. Khurda: 1
5. Sambalpur: 2
With these cases being detected from 12,559 samples, the test positivity rate stood at 0.05 per cent.
The active cases tally has touched 132 with seven new infections and 13 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
