Bhubaneswar: The number of people administered with two doses of COVID vaccines in the capital city crossed 10 lakh on Saturday.
According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), total 22.66 lakh doses of the COVAXIN vaccine have been administered to the residents of the city till 9 am of Saturday.
Of the total vaccinated people, 12,63,345 lakh have taken the first dose and 10,02,716 both doses.
The people who have taken both doses of the vaccine include 5,55,841 people in the age group of 18-41 years, 1,22,983 above 60 years, 49,645 frontline workers and 32,715 healthcare workers, the BMC stated in a tweet.
More than 2.5 crore doses of the vaccines have been administered to the people in the entire state till Saturday.
