Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved the release of Rs 7.62 crore for three districts for the proper management of COVID-19, as per a release by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) on Thursday.
The CM has approved Rs 2 crore for Puri, Rs 1 crore for Sonepur and Rs 4.62 crore for Sambalpur districts from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).
Puri district had previously received Rs 14,59,74,408 for COVID-19 management. With the additional funds, the district has now received Rs 16,59,74,408.
Similarly, Sonepur district had previously received Rs 2.50 crore. Now, the total amount has gone up to Rs 3.50 crore.
Besides, Sambalpur district had received Rs 11.50 crore earlier. With the release of Rs 4,62,80,692, the total release to the district now stands at Rs 16,12,80,692.
