Bhubaneswar: Actor-turned-politician and general secretary of BJD Youth Wing Elina Dash was heavily trolled on social media for wearing the mask wrong in her DP after she tweeted about having tested positive for COVID-19.
“I wish to inform everyone that today I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols I have isolated myself. I’m under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care. I request all those who’ve come in contact with me to get tested, Back in action very soon!” she tweeted on April 29 evening. <
Elina had changed her DP on April 22.
Besides the masks, Twitterati have expressed concern over her recent cycle rally at Pipili.
Earlier last month, Elina had led a bicycle rally from Kanti Chhak on Jatni main road, which moved from village to village in the constituency, and sought votes for BJD candidate Rudra Pratap Maharathy for Pipili Assembly segment, which going to bypoll on May 16.
