Bhubaneswar: Odisha witnessed a fall in daily COVID caseload with 219 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had seen 335 new cases on Thursday and 288 cases on Wednesday.
Among them, 32 are in the age group of 0-18 years, which is 15 per cent of the total cases against 14 per cent on Thursday and 18 per cent on Wednesday.
According to the I & PR department, 131 of the new infections are from quarantine and 88 local contacts. Khurda reported the highest of 96 cases, followed by 15 each in Cuttack and Mayurbhanj. Ten districts reported nil cases.

With these cases being detected from 58,715 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.37 per cent. The TPR was 0.53 per cent on Thursday and 0.50 per cent on Wednesday.
While the affected tally has touched 10,48,228, Odisha now has 2,385 active cases.
