New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission will issue a revised schedule of examinations after its review meeting to be held on June 5.
The commission took stock of the situation after the third phase of the nationwide restrictions imposed due to COVID-19 at a special meeting on Wednesday. Considering the extension of several restrictions during lockdown 4.0 till May 31, the commission decided that it will not be possible to resume the examinations and interviews at present.
However, the Commission took note of the relaxations announced by the Central Government and various States and decided to review the situation once more after the fourth lockdown.
With various examinations and interviews held up for the last two months, the commission decided to discuss a revised schedule of examinations at its next meeting on June 5.
The details of the new calendar of examinations will be published on the UPSC website for the information of the candidates after the June 5 meeting of the commission.
