COVID Lockdown Violation: Bikes Seized From Fish Market In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Acting tough against the people for violating lockdown guidelines of the Odisha government in the wake of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the Commissionerate Police on Wednesday seized 10 bikes from the fish market in Unit IV area in Bhubaneswar.

According to reports, there was a rush of people in the fish market in the morning. While most of the people came to the market on foot, some others came on their bike in gross violation of the guidelines.

“We have seized 10 bikes and taken them to the police station. As per the order of the government, cases will be registered against the violators in accordance with the Epidemic Diseases Act,” said a police officer.
