Bhubaneswar: Odisha police have collected fines worth over Rs 20 lakh — Rs 20,56,100 to be precise — from 22,360 persons in the capital city for violating COVID-19 guidelines from May 5 to May 18.
Be it during lockdown last year or the ongoing restrictions amid the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, police personnel have monitored the situation very closely and dealt with violators strictly to curb the spread of coronavirus.
