Cuttack: Intensifying its COVID enforcement drive, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Thursday sealed a private coaching centre for conducting offline classes.
According to sources, students were found sitting close to each other, throwing the norm of social distancing to the wind, at AR Creation Coaching centre at Link Road here during a surprise check by the civic body officials.
Notably, the Odisha government had ordered for closure of all educational institutions from January 10 in view of the spiralling COVID cases. Coaching institutions, organisations and individuals offering tuition were asked to stop taking offline classes.
