Balangir: The intensive care unit (ICU) of the Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital, here was sealed on Thursday for a week after three patients tested positive for COVID-19.
Superintendent of the medical college Mahendra Nayak said arrangements are being made to shift the remaining patients of the ICU to other hospitals for a week.
Stating that the three COVID-19 afflicted patients have been shifted to the COVID hospital, he said the swab test of the remaining patients in the ICU and the doctors and the health staffers in charge of the ICU will be sent for test.
He said the ICU will be reopened after a week after a complete sanitization.
