COVID Recovered Cases Outnumber New Patients In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID cases in Odisha capital on Thursday witnessed a drop from Wednesday.

According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), total 114 new COVID cases were registered on the day against 202 of Wednesday. All the new patients are local contact cases. In a positive development, there were 150 recovered cases which outnumber the fresh cases.

Of the day’s total cases, maximum 19 were reported from Patia while the cases from other areas of the city were in single digit.

The active cases has also dropped from yesterday’s 1,416 to 1,380 on the day while the number of deceased has remained same at 1,380.

The total COVID cases till date has gone up to 1,62,735, while the number of recovered patients has gone up to 1,60,141.
