Mumbai: There was good news from Maharashtra and Mumbai on Monday.
The state and its capital, which had seen a rising trend in coronavirus in the last few days, reported a marginal dip in the number of cases.
The state health department informed that Mumbai recorded 761 new cases of the infection, down from 921 on Sunday. Also, no death was reported.
As for the figures in the entire state, Monday saw 5,210 fresh COVID-positive cases in Maharashtra. On Sunday, 6,971 cases had been reported.
