Bhubaneswar: In view of the resurgence of COVID-19 cases, the Odisha government on Friday issued guidelines for observing Utkal Divas on April 1.
As per the guidelines:
Large congregation for celebration of Utkal Divas and related cultural programmes shall not be allowed across the state.
Also, a maximum of 200 participants will be allowed at official meeting/celebration of Utkal Divas with strict adherence to COVID-19 safety norms like social distancing, use of masks, soap and water/ sanitizers. Other activities during the day shall be avoided.
Other organizations and private institutions will have to take prior approval from the local administration to observe Utkal Divas.
