Bhawanipatna: In view of the rise in COVID-19 cases, the sarpanch of Brundabahal panchayat in Kalahandi district declared Limser village as a containment zone on Saturday.
As per the announcement, the containment order will remain in force till midnight on April 8.
Notably, Kalahandi district has witnessed 200 new COVID-19 cases in the last six days till April 2 with the highest 57 cases reported on March 30.
