Bhubaneswar: Sub-collector office and Tehsil office in Odisha capital was shut for two days from Friday to contain the spread of COVID after seven employees were found infected. Both the offices will remain closed till September 19.
According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) sources, four staffers of the sub-collector office and three of the Tehsil office have contracted the infection.
An RT.PCR test camp will be conducted for the staff of these offices on September 20.
The civic body has asked the authorities to sanitise the premises and intimate about symptoms are observed in other staff.
