Bhubaneswar: In view of the peaviling COVID situation, Kalijai Peeth in Chilka Lake will remain out of bounds for general public and devotees on January 14 to prevent large gatherings on the occasion of Makar Sankranti
The restrictions will be imposed from 5 am and continue till 5 am on Januray 15.
While the decision has been taken anticipating rush of devotees to the shrine, the daily rituals at the shrine will continue as usual.
Similarly, Ghatagaon Tarini Temple in Keonjhar will also remain shut for the devotees on Makar Sankranti.
