Bhubaneswar: The total number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha touched 12526 on Saturday with 570 fresh cases being reported from 19 districts in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, 384 have been detected in quarantine centres while 186 are local contact cases.
According to I & PR department, Ganjam district reported the highest 218 followed by Cuttack (46), Sundargarh (44), Jajpur (40), 37 each in Khurda and Nayagarh, Jharsuguda (31), Gajapati (25), Jagatsinghpur (16), Puri (15), Keonjhar (14)11 each in Koraput and Angul, Mayurbhanj(10), Kendrapada (6), three each in Balasore and Boudh, Bhadrak (2) and Sambalpur (1).
With 56 deaths and 7972 recoveries, Odisha now has 4475 active cases.
