Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 cases in Odisha rose to 5,44,873 on Monday with 10,031 new cases in the last 24 hours.
Among the new cases, 6623 are quarantine and 3408 local contacts.
While Khurda continues to lead the district chart with 1329 cases, Sundargarh has 824 cases followed by Cuttack (720), Puri (708), Angul (456), Bargarh (450), Kalahandi (433), Jharsuguda (418), Jajpur (328), Nuapada (311), Nabarangpur (306), Sambalpur (302), Balangir (274), Nayagarh (269), Bhadrak (248), Dhenkanal (244), Kendrapada (243), Balasore (230), Ganjam (209), Mayurbhanj (207), Boudh (183), Sonepur (169), Keonjhar (166), Koraput (142), Rayagada (132), Deogarh (118), Jagatsinghpur (115), Gajapati (89), Kandhamal (75) and Malkangiri (62).
Besides, the state pool has 271 cases.
With 4,47,863 recoveries, Odisha has now 94,760 active cases.
