Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 death toll in Odisha went up to 2161 on Saturday with 21 patients from 14 districts succumbing to the disease in the last 24 hours.
Four fatalities were reported from Kalahandi district, two each from Sundargarh, Angul, Bhadrak and Cuttack and one death each from Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Kendrapada, Khurda, Nuapada and Puri districts.
The deceased were identified as:
1. A 35 years old male of Angul district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
2. A 35 years old male of Angul district who was also suffering from Hypertension & Chronic Kidney Disease.
3. A 92 years old male of Bhadrak district.
4. A 50 years old male of Bhadrak district.
5. A 38 years old male of Cuttack district.
6. A 60 years old female of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
7. A 38 years old male of Dhenkanal district.
8. A 24 years old male of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Chronic Allograft Nephropathy.
9. A 50 years old male of Jagatsinghpur.
10. A 30 years old female of Jajpur district.
11. A 59 years old male of Keonjhar district.
12. A 72 years old male of Kendrapada district who was also suffering from Bronchial Asthma.
13. A 48 years old male of Khurda district.
14. A 44 years old female of Kalahandi district.
15. A 71 years old female of Kalahandi district.
16. A 40 years old male of Kalahandi district.
17. A 45 years old female of Kalahandi district.
18. A 85 years old female of Nuapada district.
19. A 45 years old male of Puri district.
20. A 44 years old male of Sundargarh district.
21. A 68 years old female of Sundargarh district.
