Balasore: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha’s Balasore district went up to 519 on Sunday with 11 more positive cases. Out of which, six are local contact cases.
Talking to the media here, district collector K Sudarshan Chakravarthy said out of 5 positive cases detected in institutional quarantine centres, one returned from Maharashtra, one from Telangana, two from West Bengal and one from the institutional quarantine in AllMS, Bhubaneswar.
Out of six other local positive cases, two are corona warriors, the collector said. He also said that the contact tracing of all the patients is underway.
Out of a total of 519 positive cases in the district so far, 131 are active cases and 386 have recovered.
