Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 10,649 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the active caseload in the state to over 1 lakh (1,00,313) on Thursday.
Among the new cases reported from all 30 districts, 5,965 were from quarantine and 4,684 were local contacts.
With this, the total positive cases in the state has soared to 5,76,297
Among the districts, Khurda reported the highest of 1557 cases, followed by Cuttack (930), Sundargarh (774), Angul (557), Balasore (503), Sambalpur (494), Mayurbhanj (404), Bargarh (391), Jharsuguda (368), Nayagarh (357), Puri (335), Nuapada (331), Jajpur (307), Jagatsinghpur (278), Kalahandi (263), Ganjam (245), Boudh (232), Dhenkanal (220), Bhadrak (216), Nabarangpur (207), Balangir (198), Sonepur (195), Kendrapada (185), Keonjhar (175), Koraput (164), Rayagada (163), Deogarh (112), Gajapati (104), Kandhamal (69) and Malkangiri (48).
Besides, the state pool has 267 cases.
