Bhubaneswar: COVID-19 positive cases in Bhubaneswar rose to 23,549 on Monday after 319 fresh cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, 227 are local contacts and 92 from quarantine.
While a maximum of 16 local contacts have been reported from Rasulgarh, 13 are from Patia, 10 each from Chandrasekharpur and Unit-6, 8 each from Dumduma, Baramunda, Old Town and Mancheswar, 7 from Badagada, 6 from Patrapada, 5 each from Jagamara, IRC Village, Khandagiri, Nayapalli and Pokhariput and 4 each from Bhoi Nagar, Hansapal and Soubhagya Nagar.
On the other hand, 315 patients have been cured of the disease in last 24 hours.
Bhubaneswar currently has 3537 active cases, while 19,888 have recovered and 104 died.
