Bhubaneswar: Although the number of COVID-19 cases has come down further in the state capital, with 213 new cases in the last 24 hours, infections through local contacts remain high.
Of the new cases, 68 are from quarantine and 145 local contacts. On the other hand, 307 patients have recovered from the disease.
The total confirmed cases in the city has gone up to 27,441.
There have been 140 deaths and 24,450 recoveries in Bhubaneswar, while number of active cases is 2830.
