COVID Update: India Logs 3.29 Lakh New Cases, 3876 Deaths

New Delhi: India’s COVID-19 case tally rose to 2,29,92,517 on Tuesday with 3,29,942 fresh cases reported in the last 24 hours.

The country also registered 3,876 more deaths in the past 24 hours, taking the toll to 2,49,992.

State-wise, Karnataka reported the maximum of 39,305 fresh cases, followed by Maharashtra (37,236), Tamil Nadu (28,978), Kerala (27,487) and Uttar Pradesh (21,277).

On a positive note, 3,56,082 patients were discharged from hospitals across the country. With this, the total recoveries in the country so far reached 1,90,27,304.

So far, 17.27 crore vaccine doses have been administered across the country.
