Bhubaneswar: As many as 1,948 people had tested positive for COVID-19 during the last 24 hours, the government said on Thursday.
Besides, 79,372 samples were tested in the state on Wednesday and the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 2.45%.
Among the districts, Khurda registered the highest of 480 new infections, followed by Cuttack (279) and Jajpur (115).
