COVID Update: Odisha Reports 9889 New Cases, Khurda Tops District List

Bhubaneswar: The state reported 9,889 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, a big jump from the 8,216 fresh cases a day earlier on Tuesday.

With the fresh cases reported in the last 24 hours, Odisha’s COVID-19 tally rose to 489,641.

Among the districts, Khurda continued to report the highest number of fresh infections at 1,331, followed by Sundargarh (1,137) and Cuttack (790).

As per the Health and Family Welfare Department, the district-wise break-up of fresh cases are as follows:
