Bhubaneswar: The state reported 9,889 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, a big jump from the 8,216 fresh cases a day earlier on Tuesday.
With the fresh cases reported in the last 24 hours, Odisha’s COVID-19 tally rose to 489,641.
Among the districts, Khurda continued to report the highest number of fresh infections at 1,331, followed by Sundargarh (1,137) and Cuttack (790).
