Bhubaneswar: Odisha recorded its highest ever surge in daily COVID-19 cases on Thursday with 10,521 new infections reported in the last 24 hours.
With the new cases, the state’s COVID-19 tally rose to 500,162. As of Thursday morning, the number of active cases in Odisha stood at 81,585.
Among the districts, Khurda continued to top t
he daily count list with 1,477 new cases, followed by Sundargarh (1,186) and Cuttack (963).
