Bhubaneswar: Odisha recorded its highest ever surge in daily COVID-19 cases on Thursday with 10,521 new infections reported in the last 24 hours.
With the new cases, the state’s COVID-19 tally rose to 500,162. As of Thursday morning, the number of active cases in Odisha stood at 81,585.
Among the districts, Khurda continued to top the daily count list with 1,477 new cases, followed by Sundargarh (1,186) and Cuttack (963).
