Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID-19 caseload in Bhubaneswar came down to 64 per cent on Monday with 864 testing positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
Among the new cases, 134 are quarantine and 730 local contacts.
The city had recorded the highest single-day spike of 1353 cases on Saturday.
While Old Town has the highest 35 cases, Khandagiri has 31 followed by Nayapalli (27), Chandrasekharpur and Patia (23 each), Rasulgarh (21), Dumduma (19), Unit-6 (17), Baramunda and Niladri Vihar (16 each), Laxmisagar (15), Mancheswar and Sailashree Vihar (14 each), Bhimtangi, Palasuni and Saheed Nagar (12 each), Gajapati Nagar (11) and Pokhariput (10).
With this, the total number of cases in the city has gone up to 62,498.
With 50,160 recoveries, Bhubaneswar has now 12,021 active cases.
