Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Friday crossed the milestone of administering 5 crore COVID vaccine doses.
The Health and Family Welfare department in a tweet said the government has achieved the milestone of administration of 5 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses to the citizens.
“Salute to our COVID Warriors, our healthcare and frontline workers who have worked day and night to help us achieve it,” the tweet read.
According to official sources, 2,07,89,167 persons have been fully vaccinated with two doses of COVID in the state, while more than 2,92,30,833 persons have received one dose.
Meanwhile, the government has announced vaccination of total 23.65 lakh persons in the age group of 15-18 years will start from January 3, 2022.
