Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 vaccination of the hotel and restaurant employees in the Odisha capital began on Wednesday.
Additional Commissioner, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), Laxmikant Sethi informed that the Hotel & Restaurant Association of Odisha (HRAO) had submitted a list of the employees and requested their vaccination.
“Considering the request of the Association, the BMC has started the vaccination of these employees at the 7th Battalion High School Ground without slot allotment,” he added.
Sethi said that 500 staff of the association will be vaccinated in the first phase.
