Puri: The COVID-19 vaccination of Jagannath temple sevayats began at the Pratihari Nijog office at the Loknath Road here on Wednesday in presence of the district collector Samarth Verma.
As informed by the collector, about 100 sevayats of more than 60 years will be vaccinated. Apart from this, the sevayats between 45-59 years having co-morbidities like diabetes, high blood pressure and cancer can also be vaccinated after informing about their illnesses.
Stating that only male sevayats will be vaccinated, he said that the vaccination will be held from 10 am to 5 pm.
