Bhubaneswar: To assist the Odisha government in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, all state-cadre IAS and IFS officers have decided to donate one-day salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).
In a release, the IAS Officers Association and the IFS Officers Association said that member of the association can also donate more if he/she wants to.
Notably, the CMRF has started receiving donations from various quarters after the Chief Minister announced free COVID vaccination of the people of 18-44 age groups, which is scheduled to begin on May 1.
