Berhampur: The Ganjam administration has welcomed the decision of various trader associations to keep the shops in urban areas of the district closed from 2 pm to 5 pm for the next 10 days.
It has the urged people to support the move aimed at breaking the COVID-19 infection chain.
Ganjam now has 1232 active cases. The district added 209 new cases to its affected tally in the last 24 hours.
