Rourkela: The COVID-19 test (RT-PCR) report of a retired doctor has come out negative.
The report by RMRC, Bhubaneswar comes days after Dr S Suleiman (71) had tested positive at IGH in Rourkela; the doctor had taken two doses of Covidshield vaccine three weeks ago.

According to reports, Suleiman had undergone an RT-PCR test at IGH, Rourkela and tested positive. However, his repeat RT-PCR test at RMRC on Saturday came negative for Covid.
His antibody test at RMRC showed very high antibody presence.
RMRC is now re-testing the original sample which came positive for Covid at IGH.
This is the latest on Dr Suleiman and the official position, according to an official statement by Health Secretary Pradipta Mohapatra.
