Bhubaneswar: In a bid to create awareness about blood donation, Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) and Commissionerate Police launched a special blood donation drive at Black Panther Skill Trainer Institute in Bhubaneswar.
The camp was inaugurated by Police Commissioner YB Khurania in presence of DCP (Headquarters) Anupama James, coordinator Rusi Patnaik, ACP (Armed) L Mohanty and Rotary President Rosanara Begum.
A total of 479 blood units have so far been collected by Commissionerate Police. This is the 10th blood donation camp organised by IRCS (Regional Branch) and Commissionerate Police since January 1, 2018, official sources said.
