Bhubaneswar: In view of the congregation of a large number of devotees in the Lord Lingaraj Temple and its surrounding roads for Mahashivratri, the twin cities Commissionerate Police (CP) has issued a traffic advisory for hassle-free movement of vehicles during the festivities.
According to the advisory, vehicles coming from Garage Chhack side towards Lingaraj Temple shall be diverted towards Samantarapur from Sub-Station Chhack. Similarly, vehicles coming from Kapileswar side towards the temple shall be diverted towards Muna Medical side from Hatasahi Chhack.
Besides, the vehicles coming from Punama Gate side towards the shrine shall be diverted towards Tinimundia Temple Square and those from Tinimundia Square towards the temple will be diverted towards Kathagola Sahi.
Apart from that, the vehicles coming to the temple via Kacharpindi shall be diverted either towards Tinimundia Square or Brajabandhu Kalyan Mandap from Kacharapindi Chhack.
