Bhubaneswar/Dhenkanal: The mortal remains of Odia jawan Ajit Sahu, who was martyred in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast at Arihal village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on June 17, will be consigned to the flames with full state honour at his native village of Badasuanla in Kamakhayanagar block of Dhenkanal district on Thursday.
Sahu’s body arrived at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar around 1.30 am in a special flight. Later, it was taken to the 120 Infantry Battalion, where Army officials and jawans offered a Guard of Honour to the martyr.
