Cuttack/Balasore: The Crime Branch has rescheduled the interrogation of Bidyabharati Panda, wife of the deceased Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra.
Informing the media on Wednesday, Crime Branch ADG Sanjeeb Panda said the interrogation of Bidyabharati will be held on Thursday.
“The statement of family members of the ACF will be recorded at their house at Begunia village in Khaira block of Balasore district today. The team will make a night halt at the districts headquarters and leave for Mayurbhanj district tomorrow to interrogate Bidyabharati at her house at Goudagan village in Kaptipada block,” he said.
Meanwhile, a four-member team of the Crime Branch arrived at the house of the ACF on Wednesday.
Sources said that the team after the interrogation of the family members will cross-check their statements with those recorded by the investigating officer (IO) and the IIC of Paralakhemundi Police Station Bibekanand Swain earlier.
