Berhampur: After day after the arrest of a wanted criminal, Sushant Behera alias Koko, Ganjam police nabbed another criminal after a brief exchange of fire near Palur in Ganjam district around 3.40 am on Sunday.
He was identified as Pramod Barik (29).
According to police sources, Barik sustained bullet injuries in his right leg. Two police constables were also injured.
The criminal was initially admitted to a hospital in Chhatrapur and later shifted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital here.
A motorcycle, one Mauser and two live cartridges were seized from his possession, the sources added.
