Police and the administration have unearthed a fake coronavirus vaccination centre in Ecuador, where at least 70,000 people have been administered a dubious vaccine.
The health clinic in the capital city of South America, was found to have charged $15 for each of three doses the beneficiaries were advised to take. People were given the assurance that they would be immune to the deadly virus after receiving three doses of the vaccine, Daily Mail reported.
Ecuador police has shut down the clinic and the government has ordered an inquiry so that the culprit can be brought to book.
It’s still to be ascertained what exactly was injected into the patients who had been convinced by officials of the bogus facility about the efficacy of their vaccine.
