Boudh: Panic gripped locals after a crocodile was spotted in a nullah (canal) near a primary school at Bahira village under Sadar block in Boudh on Monday.
It is suspected that the crocodile might have been coming to the canal along with floodwaters of the Mahanadi.
On being informed, the Forest Department officials reached the spot and attempts are on to rescue the reptile.
