Bhubaneswar: The Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday began simultaneous raids on the houses of Kabita Mathan, an Anganwadi worker at Karodakanta in Bhubaneswar, following allegations of possessing assets disproportionate to her known sources of income.
According to sources, six teams comprising 10 DSPs, 5 inspectors and other staff are conducted searches at four houses, including two three-storey buildings, one two-storey building and one single-storey building at Kesura and Jharpada in Bhubaneswar, her paternal house at Pattamundai in Kendrapada and in-law house at Balikuda in Jagatsinghpur district.
Besides, the anti-corruption officials have found a four-wheeler and a two-wheeler in her name.
