Cuttack: On the basis of the allegations of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Pramod Patnaik, working as Constable in the office of Superintendent of Police, Angul, a team of Vigilance officials of Cuttack Division on the strength of search warrants issued by the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack, on Tuesday conducted simultaneous raid on his residential government quarter at Nalco Nagar, double storied building at Kumand, his native village at Gadatalamul, house of relatives at Kasturibahal and office room in the SP office in Angul.
During search, the following movable and immovable assets have been traced out from the possession of Patnaik and his family members.
The approximate of the movable and immovable assets is as follows one double storied building at Kumand (Rs 44,50,000), one mini bus (Rs 12,00,000), one bus (Rs 18,00,000), one Toyota Etios car (Rs 7,50,000), two Scorpio SUV (Rs 18,00,000), one Bullet motorcycle (Rs 1,90,000), one Honda Activa Scooty (Rs 55,000), deposits in different Banks (Rs 2,40,000), approximate cost of Household articles (Rs 2,14,000), gold ornaments weighing 29 gms (Rs 90,000), hard cash (Rs 11,682)
The total approximate cost amounts to Rs 1,08,00,682.
