Crude Oil Flows Into Farmlands After IOCL Pipeline Bursts In Odisha’s Paradip

Paradip: Hundreds of litres of crude oil got wasted after a pipeline of Indian Oil Corporation Limited burst near the IOCL township here on Thursday.

According to reports, a portion of the Paradip-Haldia pipeline of IOCL ruptured and the crude oil flowed into the nearby farmlands.

While this led to panic among locals and passers-by,  the fire services personnel along with IOCL experts have reached the spot and efforts are on to plug the rupture and top leakage.

On the other hand, movement of vehicles near the spot has been prevented to avoid any untoward incident.
