Cruelty On Mother’s Day: Woman Beaten To Death By Husband And Son In Odisha

Malkangiri: On Mother’s Day, a woman was killed by her husband and son for refusing to part with her money in Malkangiri.

According to police, the woman, Rame Madkemi belonging to Badabadali village under Kalimela block in the district had Rs 2,700 with her. She had got the money after selling mahua flower collected from the forest.

When Rame’s husband and son demanded money, she refused leading to angry exchange of words. In a fit of rage, both the male members hit Rame with a stick to death.

Police have filed a case and arrested Rame’s husband and son. Later, the arrested were forwarded to court.
