CRUT To Run 33 Special Buses From 4 Places To Puri During Rath Yatra

Bhubaneswar: The Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) has announced to run 33 special buses for Rath Yatra in Puri from Sunday.

The special bus service has been offered for the convenience of the passengers of the festival day. The buses will ply from Khurda, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Kakatpur to Talabania bus stand in Puri at regular intervals.

The buses will operate on 7 inter-city routes and 1 intra city route from July 7 to 9 and July 15 to 17, CRUT said in a press release on Friday. Devotees will be able to reach their destination in a hassle-free manner by availing the service. Buses will ply throughout the day at regular intervals for the convenience of the commuters, it added.

Following is the details of the routes and dates of operations of Ratha Yatra Special bus service:

The fare on inter-city routes will be Rs 80 for Non- AC and Rs 100 for AC bus service. Route No 53 will be modified as Route 53 E (shuttle service) plying as intra-city bus service from Malatipatpur to Talabania bus stand with a fare of Rs 20 only.

Service on routes AE1, AE2, 60, 61 and 52 will be suspended during this period. Regular service will be available from July 10 to 14.
