Bhubaneswar: In order to meet the increasing demand from the commuters, the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) has decided to ply Mo Bus on 2 new routes from Bhubaneswar.
Informing this in a tweet, the CRUT stated that the buses will run on the new routes No 41 and 42 in the capital city from Tuesday.
The buses on route No 41 will run from Baramunda Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT) to Tangi in Cuttack district. It will go through Link Road and Badambadi in Cuttack.
Similarly, the buses on route No 42 will ply between Baramunda ISBT and Nandankanan via Chandaka.
In a press release, Vijay Amruta Kulange, MD CRUT said the management decided to launch the service after receiving numerous requests for these routes. “We would keep adding new routes to serve the commuters better and provide hassle-free services. This new fleet of Mo Bus will be operational from January 24. We are continuously trying to make Mo Bus the most preferred mode of transport in the city”, he added.
Dipti Mahapatro, GM CRUT, said, “Commuters have always been our priority and the two new routes that have been added were a long standing demand from the public. The new fleet will benefit the citizens of the capital region who opt for our Mo Bus services.”
