Bhubaneswar: Facing space crunch, the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) has decided to establish bus poles in suitable locations within its service area in Bhubaneswar for the convenience of passengers.
While hearing the grievances of Mo Bus passengers on a social media platform, CRUT MD Arun Bothra said the bus poles, with information on routs and timings, are being planned at over 200 pick and drop locations where it has not been possible to commission BSQs due to land hurdle.
He further informed that CRUT plans to introduce more electric buses in a phased manner to promote green transport in the capital region.
Responding to issues pertaining to UPI payment and ground ticketing system, Bothra said that these would be reviewed in 2 weeks and appropriate changes would be made for the convenience of passengers. He also assured to improve Mo Bus service on certain routes.
